WOMEN’S MINISTRY

At SIBI, we’re committed to preparing women for ministry with the same depth and excellence we offer men. Women and men alike are called to “go into all the world,” and we believe women play a vital role in the growth and health of the Kingdom — just as they did in the time of Christ.

Whether married or single, women at SIBI receive biblically sound training that equips them to teach, lead, and serve with confidence. Our Women’s Ministry curriculum goes beyond Bible study to include practical skills like hospitality, public speaking, emotional wellness, conflict resolution, benevolence, children’s ministry development, and family building.

Graduates have gone on to serve in diverse roles — from mission fields and internships to children’s ministry and international women’s leadership. Whether you’re preparing for global missions or simply want to deepen your understanding of Scripture, there’s a place for you here.

WOMEN’S EMPHASIS CLASSES

PUBLIC SPEAKING

  • Allows the student to learn basic cooking skills, but more importantly, gives insight into why God expects this expression of fellowship and discusses the beautiful results of hospitality toward others.

  • A resource-based class with various teachers. The purpose of this class is to look at areas of ministry that most ministers’ wives, female interns, and/or teammates of a mission team experience.

  • Designed to cover healthy and biblical parenting not only for the student but also for the people she will be encountering throughout her ministry.

  • An introduction to becoming a healthier woman of God mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

  • Continued studies from Effective Women’s Ministry 1 with several out-of-class, hands-on assignments. Attention is also given to what healthy boundaries should look like in the students’ lives as well as in the lives of those they minister to.

  • Along with planning and presenting senior lessons, the women in this class consider how to build an effective women’s ministry. The resources gained in this class are vital in future ministry involvement whether stateside or on the mission field.
