Around the world, ministers and missionaries often find themselves on the front lines, overwhelmed by urgent needs. Many ministries struggle to continue helping the hurting while also teaching about Christ’s love. The need is greater than their available means.
Through the Global Relief Ministry, SIBI connects with partner schools and churches worldwide to provide aid and keep God’s blessings flowing. Your gifts supply the fuel that allows frontline workers to keep Christ’s light shining.
The objective is simple yet powerful: to preach the Gospel by meeting physical needs that are so prevalent in today’s world.
In the past, SIBI has responded to crises including:
Earthquakes in Haiti and Mexico City
Hurricanes in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Houston
Conflict relief in Ukraine (2014 and the current turmoil)
The Global Relief Ministry continues in this spirit, striving to meet the needs of Christians worldwide so they can carry on the ministry of the Gospel.
CONTINUED SUPPORT FOR UKRAINE
For more than 25 years, SIBI has trained preachers and church leaders in Ukraine — first in Donetsk and more recently in Kyiv through the Ukrainian Bible Institute (UBI). War forced the school to relocate in 2014, and now ongoing conflict has once again altered operations. Our hearts ache for all of Ukraine, especially for our students, graduates, and brethren. We continue to pray for them and for those who face danger daily.
In response to these ongoing needs, SIBI and UBI have implemented a long‑term plan of intervention to assist our brothers and sisters spiritually, physically, and emotionally.
Funds raised through this effort are used exclusively for relief work, carried out through a network of 40+ churches and organizations that currently feed more than 7,000 Ukrainians every day.

Due to limited resources, the Global Relief Ministry is only able to serve in countries where SIBI has connections through international partner schools.
For needs beyond those areas, we encourage you to connect with our trusted partners:
Healing Hands International – for global relief opportunities
Churches of Christ Disaster Relief – for domestic disaster response
Together, these ministries extend the reach of Christ’s love to those in need around the world.
